Hi folks,
We are now safely back home after fair bit of travelling around England, we covered a total of 1160 miles, stayed in 12 different locations which included independent camp sites, club camp sites, pub campsites, marina camp sites, friends and family gardens and a pub car park. A total of 31 nights away from home although we only slept in the motorhome for 30 of those, we were kindly invited to sleep in a bed for one night by our friends Paul and Jane :)
We had a few hours on the bowling green whilst we were there and a good walk finding geocaches!
We were invited and attended the 60th birthday of our good friend Jimmy, his wife Annie organised a fantastic do and if the blame lies anywhere with us being away from home it is these two as their invite triggered our trip. There are no regrets though as we also met up with very good friends and fellow motorhomers Chris and Lucy and Alan and Gilly, both couples have being doing this motorhome malarkey far longer than we have.
We introduced them to Geocaching and all took to it like a duck to water, well maybe not Alan who enjoyed the pub part of it but thought we were all bonkers. Our final stop was in Hereford where we visited our son and his wife Paul and Tania and little Zachary who is not so little any more. For a four year old he did exceptionally well on a 3.75 mile geocaching walk.
We will catch up with Kelly, Mya and Maximus Decimus Meridius later this week, no doubt there are gardening jobs to do and some DIY stuff, Steve will be at work, never mind!
We have already started on our garden project giving it a big makeover, removing the boules court, done yesterday, and a patio and laying a new lawn. Should be completed in a couple of weeks. Maureen has a bowling competition later this week so that will take up some of her time. We have a vague plan to visit friends in the Sandringham club site who have just started as wardens and host Chris and Lucy on our front drive pitch in the near future. We may even plan a trip to visit friends in France and do a bit of touring around, we’ll see. Of course, we will continue searching out those ‘caches’ as we continue with our new ‘hobby’ start making plans for our trip to North Africa in the new year!
Thanks for following us and thanks for all your comments, we hope to entertain you again soon :) Stay safe and take care
Jimmy

Great round-up of a good trip. You packed loads in like we do. Thanks for introducing us to Geocashing, we've found 3 local ones ourselves xx
