After leaving Lake George, we drove along our favorite road in the Adirondacks, Route 28N, and stopped in Newcomb to view the high peaks
. Mount Marcy is the highest of them all, and we spent our honeymoon there in a lean-to on the way up. But we never made it to the top, because it rained the whole time.
We spent the night at Chris's newly acquired land just outside the Adirondack Park. He has just begun building a cabin there on a lovely site.
