We were sad to leave Aosta, as the family who owned the apartment were so friendly and kind, also the apartment was so comfortable, we would love to return...we will see.
Return to Menaggio: Our trip from Aosta to Menaggio was easier than expected. We found a bus that went direct, Aosta to Milan so we arrived earlier than expected. The apartment in Menaggio is a little disappointing, maybe we have been spoilt, however the view over Lake Como makes up for it. Main problem is the internet, so have spent three days trying to sort it out. We love Menaggio and it was great to return to our favourite bar, the people remembered us and welcomed us back. After two days of eating snacks, we found a little trattoria tucked away in the back streets and had a delicious lunch of roast meat and gravy with potatoes and grilled vegetables...yum.
