Today we walked north from Menaggio towards Rezzonico. It is possible to walk most of the way on walkways that are not used by vehicles so it is quite safe. The walkway has been constructed along an old railway line so we had to walk through a few tunnels. Mostly we walked with the lake on one side and huge cliffs on the other, the locals use the cliffs for rock climbing and abseiling. Everywhere we walk here there are beautiful villas with well kept grounds, however not all of them are open to the public.
