We arrived in Barcelona at about 9.30am. We were able to catch a bus from the ship to the old town and have a walk along La Rambla which is a pedestrian mall down the centre of the old town popular with both tourists and locals. We basically followed a Rick Steve Walking Tour that I had found in a book from our local library and did our own thing. What we saw of Barcelona in the short time we were there we liked a lot. In the evening we met up with our Australian and English friends and had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Back on deck we watched our sister ship "Fantasia" sail past us on her next journey.
