Forgot to mention that the sun doesn't come up until about 8.45am in Santiago. It was a little harder getting up while it was still dark.

Last night at dinner the manager showed us down to their cellar. Had to go down a ladder under the restaurant. Pretty impressive, the menu has only 344 Chilean wines to choose from.

Today and tomorrow is a public holiday in Santiago for Navy Day. It was amazing to see no traffic on the roads this morning so it was a quick trip up to the markets. We made our last sight-seeing trip to the central markets where when sell fish and have small restaurants.

While we were up at the Virgin Mary Statue I bought a little Christmas decoration. I have put up a picture of it to show you how cute it is.

At the moment we are just filling in time waiting for a flight to Buenos Aires.    When we arrive in tonight we have a dinner with a tango show. It will probably be midnight before we arrive back at our hotel. The food was delicious and drinks unlimited. They certainly know how to entertain.
