Leaving London, coming to the Cotswolds

London, England, United Kingdom
Yesterday we had to say good bye to London as we started on the next part of our journey to the Cotswolds, Tetbury to be precise. We were pleasantly surprised when our car, to take us to the airport to get our hire car, turned up half an hour early. So after getting our car we headed off, only to then stop in under 20 minutes to rearrange seating arrangements and luggage.

After a short but pleasant trip through the English country side we arrived at Tetbury . It took us a while to find a car parking spot since it looked like everyone was here for Easter. We walked around to see the town and stopped for lunch at a nearby pub. We arrived back at our cottage to relax after going out, not that we needed it, and then I realised how small the cottage really is.

It has 3 floors; on the ground floor a living room and a kitchen with a table, on the second floor is a bedroom that Kath and Paul sleep in and on the third floor is another bedroom where I sleep, and a bathroom. It sounds like a lot however it isn't, and what I think is the cutest part of this house is that when Paul stands up, his head almost hits the roof and he has to duck into door ways. No doubt we will finish this part of our holiday with no small amount of bruises on Paul's head.

Today being Easter Sunday we are having a quiet day, walks in the afternoon and roast for dinner - not so far from home after all.
