-rainy power canoe to lodge
-afternoon paddle around lake. Squirrel monkeys overhead. Turned out to b one of our better nobler encounters. We all liked the stink turkey name and sound.
-dinner w Fausto the guide. Glad he loosened up
-night time hike. Big tarantula in the palm leaf
-sleep at last
Tuesday January 2
-early morning up to canopy walk. Met people from SC. Great family. Beautiful toucans. Cool purple and yellow bird. Hope the pics turn out. Pretty exhilarating to walk across the long hanging bridge.
-paddle back in canoe
-nap n lunch n nap. Really needed them to recover from all the early mornings
-canoe n short hike to the super cool tree house tower. Tarantulas in bromeliads. Very cool. Could see all the way to the Napo river
-dinner w guide n SC crew
-nighttime canoe. Was glad the temps were cool and no mosquitoes.
