Packed up car by 9 and 3 hour drive to east coast.
Forgot to take pictures of our church lodging
Lunch and groceries in the quaint seaside town of St. Helens.
Out to our remote cottage at 2:30 and then a nice beach walk on squeaky white sand
Water is a stunning clear aqua but shockingly cold. No swimming for this crew.
Dinner at the cafe with a nice deck

I got up early and went for a 1.5 hour beach walk crossing a number of rocky points. Crisp and stunning morning
We headed out to a 90m waterfall that was quite scenic but a long drive for a short walk
Stopped at a local cheese making dairy and had yummy pepperberry ice cream. Super unique taste
Back into St. Helens and the information center and some wifi
Grabbed a quick bite and some cardboard from the local supermarket
Out to the dunes for some sand surfing. Not overly successful sliding but we got our energy out and should have some fun pictures
Back to the supermarket to provision for our long hike
Home to the beach cottage for veggies and rice w a yummy masala sauce
Pleasant evening w the fire and kids' alphabet game.
