Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia3/20
The crew gets up eager to leave for nicer lodging and wifi.
The first guided tour of port Arthur is at 9:30 so we motivate to go catch it
It is an informative tour and between the walking tour and the short ferry tour we check the grounds and the asylum
The ferry tour is fine and the others grab food. We go check out a few buildings. I'm getting hungry so we finish at the cafe with lunch
We then car tour the Tasman peninsula and stop at sights like the blowhole n arch n crazy pavement rocks. It was decent but we were spoiled by the coastal views from our hike. The highlight was probably the ice cream near the blow hole
In mid afternoon we are off to our hotel near the Hobart MONA museum. It turns out to b a nice place with great views across the bay and speedy wifi. We decide this will be the place for our last two nights
We head into north Hobart to a recommended Indian restaurant. It was yummy but laura didn't like the cleanliness factor. Still we stuffed ourselves.
Home for more wifi binging by the kids and then finally to bed
We had stopped for groceries on our way home and I ended up dropping my phone. Laura and I went back to look but no luck. Hopefully it will turn up tomorrow. Find my phone is not working as it is in airplane mode
