-woke up to a ton of rain and had bfast under windows and confirmed that there was plenty of water and lightening coming down
-decided to wait it out and a break came between 10-11. Laura said "Let's go" and we were off pedaling.
-it was wet but fine. We found a dry place to stop and laughed as trash and leaf blowing workers showed up just after we had stopped. Ah the peace and joy of nature.
-we pedaled on and crossed a many cows and a ferry. Eventually we made it to a town with a Chinese restaurant.
-it was immaculately clean with a super helpful staff and we spent 1.5+ hours there. We had a great meal and a great time. Maybe we need more Chinese on Maui?!?
-we took our second ferry and were quickly at our destination town. A couple of wrong turns and we were soon at our destination.
-the hotel is a converted water tower and it is totally cool. There are gardens and canals on the grounds and you wonder why you should leave.
-Dordrecht is definitely cool and we haven't even done the old town.
-the ride today was much more palatable even in the rain. I'm glad we decided to pedal and not take the train.
-dinner at hotel per Laura's request . Subpar service and ok food. At least it is close to bed.
-today's bike stats: elapsed time 5:50, rolling time 2:51, distance 48 km.
