-we decided to move on and would just see what the day brought. 
-got up and toured the castle
-drove to Erchleburg (or something like that). [Echternach is the actual name of the town.] Hit tourist office and yummy shawrma.  
-got out of the bigger town and headed for the small town of Berdorf. Found a hotel in woodlands and grabbed a room
-super nice check-in dude gave us a hiking map and we were off through this landscape of a small stream and mini canyons. Was a neat 2 hour hike. 
-back to hotel for some needed internet connectivity and then out into town for dinner
-a very pleasant day of limited driving and good sites. Bigger driving day tomorrow to our hotel by the airport but we are excited to commence our journey home.
