Manuel Antonio National Park, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Fri Mar 20
-everybody up early n rested which was nice. Packed up for our trip to Manuel Antonio n headed down for bfast
-on our way stopped at front desk n requested taxi n told him our plan. He said he would try n arrange a guide for us
-after bfast learned that we had a guide all set up for a private tour. Awesome. Fun taxi ride to park w friendly cabby n sure enough our guide Jorge was there waiting for us
-had a great tour through the park n Jorge was invaluable. Would have been a waste of time to go thru the park wo a guide. We saw people trying to stop n c what we were looking at but to no avail wo the telescope that the guide had.
-we saw 2 n 3 toed sloths. Monkeys n a snake n birds n butterflies n moths. We saw iguanas n Jesus Christ lizards n frogs. We saw tons of animals. We would not have seen any wo our guide.
-Jorge left us at the beach n finn n I swam n bodysurfed small waves. Was fun. L n Ty played bowling w poisonous fruit
-we walked back n had a pleasant lunch in the touristy town. L n Ty caught a bus home n Finn n I rented boogie boards n surfed the fun waves.
-bus home to reunite the crew. Then pool n dinner n bed. A very fun day indeed.
