Rooms fit for a King and Queen

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
We started out at the Las Vegas RV Resort where we could leave our coach while touring Vegas. We hired a local PetSitters business to come watch our Nattie while we played. The man that came over nightly was great. Sent us update texts and photos of Nattie....made us very comfortable.

Our first stop was the Paris Buffet where we ate their wonderful food (too much, of course...isn't that what you're supposed to do at a buffet?) The inside of the Paris is so quaint.

Next, we drove down to the Palazzo and Venetian to see those magnificent hotel decorations.

Then we checked into the Mandalay Bay for one night. They upgraded us to this monster-sized room.

Next, we headed over to the Bellagio to check out the conservatory, watch a fountain show and get a drink.

...and then we got into our room at MGM Grande.....even larger than Mandalay Bay....over 1,000 sq. ft. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the room and tub.

Vegas has gotten a bit over-commercialized....if you can believe that. Too much "buy this" and shops with gaudy signs. The uniqueness of the hotel-themed casinos has gotten overwhelmed lost. And sooooo many people on the sidewalks...all taking pictures, selfies and not watching that they're walking into you. A bit much for us. We probably won't come back for a while.

The rooms and large tubs were great. So were the swimming pools at the hotels. And the insides of the great casino/hotels were grand...Bellagio, Venetian, Palazzo, Paris and Mandalay Bay.

WOW! That was really something. How wonderful to soak in a tub like that! Funny the things that awe you when you live in an RV.
