Day 36 Singapore - fly to Melbourne

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Our last day is going to be another humid day. We are both still very tired, must be a combination of jet lag and exhaustion.
Anyway today we used the train again to go to " Gardens by the Bay ", a new feature that includes two huge conservatories. One is for flowers from neighboring countries, like Australia and China. But the other is called the "Cloud Forest", and it was spectacular. It is about 6 stores high. You enter on the ground floor directly in front of a huge waterfall. It is a gigantic hanging garden. You catch the lift to the top, then walk down a series of pathways to platforms jutting out from the central structure. All the while, water mist is being strayed continuously like you are walking in a cloud. It only opened about two years ago so what they have achieved is amazing. It was about noon now so we went back to the underground a caught the train to Orchard, for a little more window shopping. Eventually we headed back to the hotel where we had to vacate our room by 4.00. All this accomplished, we went into the mall next door and filled in another couple of hours. Our transfer to the airport arrived a little early, so here we are sitting in the airport, using the free WiFi.
It has been a wonderful holiday but we will be glad to get home in the morning. Thank you for taking the time to read my blogs. It has made me keep up the dairy every day, something that may have got a little sack if you were not waiting for the next installment.
That's all folks!!!
