The flight from Honolulu to Auckland took just over 9 hours but it actually went pretty quickly as we had the movie package included in our in flight entertainment as well as TV and music! I don't remember paying the extra to have that or the meals but we certainly weren't going to complain!
 
We arrived in Auckland at just after 6am on Friday according to local time, even though we only left Hawaii 9 hours ago where it was 11pm on Wednesday?!?! So, although we had completely lost a day, our body clocks weren't too far out of sync and fortunately we only had a 3 hour lay over so it wasn't long before we were lining up again to board our next plane.
