The flight from Auckland to Sydney was only 3 and a half hours long and again we had the in flight entertainment package, including the movies, so it seemed to go much quicker. We were also given our second breakfast of the day so we certainly weren't hungry when we arrived in Sydney at 10:30am (local time)!
 
Then we had the big wait... 9 and a half hours!!!!
 
It wasn't too bad though as we put our big bags into storage and went through to the departure lounge where there were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to keep us entertained. The price of the drinks certainly hit us hard after the luxury of cheaper alcohol in New Zealand and Hawaii but we didn't let that deter us! A few beers helped pass the time though as we were very tired. As the afternoon turned into the evening, we were starting to get hungry and I knew we definitely wouldn't get any food on our Jetstar flight so we had a bite to eat before boarding our final flight of the journey.
 
We weren't in our seats long before we started to feel extremely tired (well we had been awake for over 40 hours!!) and I think we just about took off before both of us nodded off, waking up as we touched down in Perth!
