Well my Yellowknife friend Darlene lent me a hand in dealing with some of the last items in my apartment and brought a Tim Horton's breakfast and coffee for both of us..! Then we took a couple of pictures, I went to my office to drop off my office keys, back to apartment where friend Catherine picked me up for airport. She was the friend that took me to the airport at the start of my last year off in 2006!   Then Patricia came out to airport to say goodbye. I arrived in Vegas via Edmonton, on time about 7:30 p.m. M y friend Barb from Vancouver had arrived earlier and waited for me at aiport.   We taxied into Vegas and got into our hotel room which overlooked the pool and garden.  We walked around and had dinner and talked into the night. The next day Bonnie arrived from Sask. again on time so much talking and laughing ensued!   The following day was my birthday, and Jersey Boys did not disappoint.   The following day we went into downtown Vegas to see the older casinos. Great fortunes were neither won nor lost, I am sad and happy to report, in that order! I think we were all well behaved in that category, am not divulging about the others, LOL! What happens in Vegas...
Anyway, on the 29th Barb left for her flight first, and then Bonnie and I shared a taxi - she for Calgary and me for Salt Lake City, which will be another entry. I do have pictures but they will have to be uploaded later!
