Perth, Western Australia, Australia
With a full plane of passengers it took forever to get off the plane of course 1st Class and Business Class on the top deck depart first and we in economy have to wait till last. Richard got talking to the lady (Mother of the lady with the loud voice) in front and she said they were going onto Perth like us so here's hoping they don't sit near us.

Finally got off found the Baggage Claim to wait with all the people and thankfully it didn't take long to find our suitcase with Mum's pom pom on. You wouldn't believe it my handbag was swabbed for drugs before we went through Customs. This time I didn't send Richard down to the alien aisle at Customs (he still has his British Passport) there were a lot of Customs Officers on so we went through quickly and security was the same.

Seeing we were in transit to the Domestic Airport we dropped off our suitcase at the Baggage Transfer Drop Off before boarding the Qantas Shuttle to the Sydney Domestic Airport. We like other passengers have jumpers on and the weather is very warm. Time flew quickly as our flight arrived late making some poor people miss their connecting flights so we know how they feel. Found the Qantas Departure Lounge and before we knew it, it was time to board and being at the back of the plane again we got on quickly to secure the overhead compartments for our carry on luggage.

Didn't take long to be up in the air and on our way home put the headset on plus our neck support pillows and we were out of it for a while. Did manage to wake in time for a meal (which wasn't that great) and refreshments. Watched some movies but had to get another paracetamol due to being overtired and not getting enough sleep. The five hour flight did pass and we could see the Swan Valley not long to go to touch down.

It was a smooth landing short wait at the Baggage Claim and we could feel the heat as we walked through Arrivals to see Phyllis, John and Barry waiting for us. It's great to be home but we will miss the magnificent Canadian scenery there is still a lot of Canada to see so maybe one day we will be back to see some more.
