Good night’s rest, Richard will
spend the day in bed to shake this bug and the lucky boy had breakfast and
morning tea in bed seeing I will be playing nurse maid today.
Outside it is very humid
temperature of high 300C, overcast, the blue Pacific Ocean is very
calm and peacefully. Saw a pod of dolphins this morning and many turtles
throughout the day from our balcony.
To leave Richard in peace after
getting him a morning coffee I went to the Princess Theatre for a 10am Port
talk on “The Neotropical Rainforest” with speaker Bill Fall which was very
interesting including his photos with captions, followed by at 11am “Grand
Panama Experience Documentary” a DVD by Princess photographer of our transition
through the Panama Canal. Will buy these DVD’s at the end of the cruise, as it
will be a great experience to look back on and remember.
Spoke with Bill Fall about
putting a name to my photos that I took going through the Panama Canal for our
TravelPod blog so will catch up with him at his Q&A at 3pm on Deck 5 Atrium.
The afternoon passed quickly and it is time to see Bill armed with my laptop I
had Bill all to myself, he was very helpful with naming and putting my Panama
photos in folders. Now I can do that day’s blog as I know what photo I am
looking at.
Throughout the afternoon there
was lots of sightings of turtles and pods of dolphins from our balcony.
Time for an early dinner Richard
is a little better, the Bordeaux Dining Room is a little busy being 6.30pm so
the Food and Beverage Supervisor handed us a Pager to let us know when a table
for two was ready.
Short wait as we browsed through
the Duty Free Shops, but once seated it was very cold from the air-conditioner
so Constantine changed table settings for us. Only two courses now, thinking of
our waistlines and the deserts we shouldn’t be having before indulging in our
nightly fresh fruit salad in the Horizon Court.
Another early night till Richard
is better, then we can see shows in the Princess Theatre. Sleep came easy to
the gentle rolling of the cruise ship sailing across a calm ocean.
