A day of returns and mishaps

The English weather is still cold with a wind that cuts right through you. Have met some lovely people at the campsite. Across from us is Arthur and Edna from Northumberland (Gordies) they are experienced motorhome travellers. Arthur helped Richard with things he had forgotten about the motorhome. So much to learn in a short time even reading all the Manuals that came with the motorhome.

With the GPS problem Arthur invited us over to their motorhome which is bigger than our little 6 metre long one theirs has more space in the dining and kitchen area with microwave and TV.

Arthur has a Garmin GPS similar to ours and he tried to get it working in his van including trying to charge it, but we were sold a dude. Edna was kind enough to ring Curry's and there was no problems with exchanging it so now we have another day of stress following a mud map.

No need to say we got lost but again with the help of bystanders we found A28 the road to Curry’s and this time we made sure the new Garmin GPS worked before he left there. Also the EE WIFI dongle wasn’t working so the young lad who sold it to us got it up and running plus came in our motorhome to make sure it was up and going.

Now down the road to ASDA to buy a microwave and extras we forgot. Our mishaps are never ending while in ASDA I dropped my big linen shopping bag, which now some horrible person has taken. From the day we left Perth there has been one mishap after the other I think God is testing us but we will not give in we will survive and enjoy our holiday touring the UK and Ireland.

Back at the campsite we met up with Arthur and Edna again they just got back from a bus trip to Sandwich and Deal on the coast. We might go to Sandwich Edith said it is a lovely seaside village but has small lanes.

Edna and Arthur invited us over for coffee and to bring our map to circle the towns to see in the UK which they thing will interest us, they like the outdoors and scenery like us.

I don’t know if it was the stress of what has been happening or something I ate but we had to leave quickly, as I vomited over the grass outside how embarrassing.

Time for an early night and get rid of whatever is wrong with me.
