We're still here, our three neighbours are not so we are Billy no Mates again. Rained from the time we arrived until after we'd gone to bed and sounded like hail again.

Got up this morning to more rain but that was to be expected. Mike was complaining that his foot hurt and it was painful when he put pressure on it. On checking he found his foot was swollen on the ball of his foot and it looked as though something had bitten it.

As he wouldn't be able to do any driving today we decided to stay put, do stuff like hair washing and generally catch up on some of the rest we needed from not sleeping properly.

It was a good job we did as Mike suddenly developed a gastro problem and so he has spent the day and evening so far in and out of the bathroom. Fortunately we are in an Aire that has the water turned on and there is free electricity, which we'd forgotten about until I went for a nose around after everyone else had gone. We haven't bothered with the electricity yet but if we have to stay another day then I think I'll plug us in.

I'm hoping Mike will be well enough for us to continue tomorrow as I don't intend to leave France if there's a chance he needs a Dr.
