After spending a couple of days at Nules we moved on today. We said goodbye to new friends Lyssa, Steve & Vegas, the dog with an invitation to call in on them on our way home and left them just as we found them - on their own but not for much longer as the French couple who'd been popping in and out returned just after we left.

That place is definitely in our 'Favourites' and we would go there again .

We had no real plans as to where we'd finish up tonight so we just headed south. We thought about Valencia but decided that providing we were able and had the means, we'd save it for another year - stomachs still not recovered enough for city sight-seeing!

We stopped at Gandia for lunch along by the seafront, the sea was pretty rough today, the weather not being that brilliant. It must have been easy parking because it was Sunday as the place was practically deserted.

We then went off down to Denia where we looked for a camper park that was listed in our App. Turned out it didn't exist which was probably why we couldn't find it! We've finished up in Calpe in a little side road, along with some other campers, next to what seems to be a half constructed building and pool.

I don't know if it's the same place you were at Sheila but according to Google satellite the police station is a bit further down the road on the right.

We got chatting for a while to the Liverpudlian couple from the van in front of us but we've just noticed that, for some reason, at 22:40 hrs they've upped and gone but didn't take their portable TV antenna off the roof. Hope they've still got it when they get where they're going. Maybe they didn't feel comfortable here.
