A disappointing day weatherwise. We managed to call round to the Carole & Ken coffee bar this morning for a chat and then didn't want to go out again after we got back to the van. Cloudy and cold, gale force wind being the order of the day! We were hoping to be able to cycle along the prom today but not in this wind!

Judging by the colour of the sky out there now (19:12) we're in for another rough night!

Highlight of the day - one Easy-jet plane landed early this afternoon and Ryanair at 18:30 tonight. Oh golly gosh! I do believe Ryanair is taking off at last. No, it's only taxiing at the moment, here it goes. i can hear the engines roaring. The momentous occasion has arisen - and so has the plane. Phew! I can get dinner now.

Wow! Just had a surprise landing from another plane. OMG - THREE planes in one day!

Oh! I forgot to tell you, there's a Spanish van behind us, been there since we arrived. It's taken that long for us to find out he's English and vice-versa.he and his wife have lived here 12 years but have now sold up and are moving back to the UK this year. Mike didn't ask him if it was anything to do with Brexit - he said it was too cold out there to stand and talk any longer.

He said that the reason the Germans have all these big campers is because the probably had holiday homes here but then they had to pay a tax in Germany on their Spanish (or foreign) property as well as the tax on their home in Germany and they would also have been taxed in Spain so they sold their Spanish properties and bought massive great campers! It's a plausible theory.

We're moving on tomorrow, let's hope the gales don't come with us!

Wow! The planes are coming in thick and fast now - another one! They must like creeping in under cover of darkness. Do they not know that they make a noise??
