N 36.716492 W 4.238080 CAMPER AREA EL RINCON - 10€/24 hrs + 3.50€ electricity. More than seven nights electricity is included.

I didn't write yesterday as there was nothing really to write about . We went for a cycle ride, read and I knitted. Sat out for a bit but the wind was too cold for me.

Today, we said goodbye to the German people we'd played boules with and left Camper Park Almerimar and took the motorway towards Malaga. We hoped to get to Camper Area El Rincon. We spent just over two weeks (split in two) there last year and liked it.

Had to drive through Plastic Land again but sometimes you've just gotta drive through the grot to get to the nice places. Besides, Plastic Land supplies all the Tomatoes that we all demand.

We left the A7 motorway at Nerja because we wanted to find Aldi's and I couldn't remember where it was.

We found it at Caleta de Vélez but they didn't have my searched for coffee flask. The German distributors lied to me. They said it would be in Aldi's in Spain at the end of February! Not so, I've looked through the Spanish Aldi website, been into every shop we've come across and not a dicky bird . Now I'm back to having to search every Asian shop I come across.

Stopped outside Aldi for our lunch and then onto Rincon. Our SatNav too us up the first little road after Mercadona, a tiny, single carriageway road with a couple of blind bends around the houses. Just after one blind bend we came across a traffic jam - two campers stopped and blocking the route. They were trying to get into the camper park but it was full. Eventually they had to move for a car to pass. We passed them and turned around and parked after they stopped. They disappeared and we walked into the parking, asked if there were any spaces and were told there might be one. Someone had reserved but so far hadn't turned up! Fortunately for us they didn't.

We don't have the best spot on site but we do now have ELECTRICITY for the first time. Our choice most of the time but this time we chose to have it.

There's a new guy working here now. Last year the brother (Rodriguez) who worked here left to continue his career as a chef. The new guy seems just as friendly though. No Chinese shop tomorrow as it's a fete day and the shops are closed.
