Mike found my magnetic ring and bracelet today. The sun was shining in through the cab window and he spotted something glinting at the back of a seat cushion. Pulling the cushion away, he found my ring. Lifting the cushion right out, he found the bracelet. One more jolt of the van on the road and it would have fallen down behind the water tank. I am a happy bunny.

We left La Línea de la Concepción without going into Gibraltar, there was nothing we wanted to go for!

We shopped at Carrefour on the way out and lunched in the car park.

We made our way to Tarifa. We wanted to find some of the beach parking north of Tarifa. I could only find a couple on any of my apps so they were plugged into the GPS. The first one we tried, we appeared to come to a tiny track, we could see big campers down near the sea but couldn't see that we could have got down that track. After reversing out we turned back down the road to a little single track road to a tiny sandy parking area full of surfers and their vehicles. We found space for us - just - facing the sea, watched all three surfers for a while before deciding that it wasn't the place for us.

As you can see, we finished up at Cadiz, arriving at 6:45 pm. We're parked outside or next to the container and ferry port so it's a bit noisy but close to the old town. There is, apparently a discounted rate for camping cars but you have to leave when the attendant is there to get it rather than paying via the machine. There are also toilets here too.i

Band practice started up tonight, starting with a big base drum. I guess it's in readiness for their Easter festivities. It's quite close by.
