Got up this morning to a reasonable day, got the ablutions done and said goodbye to Sheila & Barry . A service station was first on the agenda to refill our gas bottle and top up with fuel before making our way to Pedro's. This time we made sure we didn't go via the dirt track we took last year. We were pleased to note that as we were turning into the little road leading up to their place a camper was leaving so maybe we wouldn't be in the neighbour's garden after all!

We got to a sharp corner in the road when a Dutch registered van came shooting out from a tiny side road off the bend and in front of us. Where the hell did he come from? How did he manage to get down that tiny little road. As it turned out he hadn't booked and we had but we were both allowed in and not put in the garden of the neighbour.

Pedro gave us and the other couple his usual spiel about the site, the local area on what to see, walks that can be taken and what events take place. We also had our welcome coffee and almond liqueur. The Dutch lady looked a bit sour-faced but maybe that was because Pedro was speaking English and hers was limited but Mireille came in from making desserts to translate as she is Dutch.

We are parked behind Linda and Steve on the same pitch. It's very busy here, the majority being Dutch. Probably only four English vans, us being the only French reg, the rest are Dutch.

We've had a good day catching up with L & S. It's been a really hot day today.
