Tired today

Albufeira, Faro, Portugal
After the barbecue yesterday we visited Ralf & Angela, the German couple we've made friends with, for an English and German style digestif! That means that unlike the French style it's not time-limited. So we staggered back down the road, through the gate and back to our van thinking it was very late to discover it was only 10:30 pm! I think we've had sufficient red wine here to last us for months and there's a live music night tonight to attend.

We took ourselves off to bed early (for us). I got woken several times last night by the drumming on the roof - rain, heavy rain, not just heavy rain but VERY heavy rain! We have not just early April showers but April downpours. It's sunny as I write now but the wind is chilly.

I'd set an alarm to make sure we'd be up in time to say goodbye to Linda and Steve but got woken a bit earlier at 06:40 am by a text alert message from Karen. We dodged showers to say goodbye to L & S and then also to Harry so now I'm knitting

I've thought of a rule for us when we're here : to always make sure that the toilette cassette is emptied before going to the barbecue because the next morning it's not good to find that you need the loo and the little red light is glowing brightly and you were too pissed to empty it the night before!

Hee hee, I got there first and Mike lucked out!

We've a live music night tonight, more food and wine and we're mixing with the Germans again and they can drink!
