Last Day Here

Pêra, Faro, Portugal
Last night we booked in for an extra day (to get the washing dry) but to be honest I don't think either of us would have passed a breathalyser test.

We had our Nasi-Goreng and Saté last night and once again it was a very nice meal . Afterwards we had live entertainment. A young couple are on the site and the young man sings and plays guitar, so after dinner we adjourned to the bar area where he entertained us until we were told it was closing time. Normally, the bar area is only open for a couple of hours in the evening. Of course, along with the music goes the pitchers of red wine so I went to bed worse for wear again.

It's been a really hot day today 27.6 deg and a bit. I woke really early and not wanting a toilet repeat of Pedro's (full cassette) decided to wander down to the toilets at about 7:30 am. Down our end of the site no-one seems to get up early although Barry assures me that where we were before they do and they do at Pedro's too. Anyway, I digress, there was no-one else about and as I walked to and fro In the early morning sunshine I could hear doves cooing, frogs croaking, ducks, chickens and crickets all doing their thing.

We're off tomorrow but haven't made any definite choice of stopping place but will probably head west.
