Thanks to daylight savings ending last night, we managed to get an extra hour of sleep before being up at 4am for a 7:30am flight to Hong Kong. Thank you to Mik for driving us (and for sacrificing some sleep)!
We have just heard that our flight is delayed so we won't be boarding until after 7:40
. We have about 2.5 hours stopover in Hong Kong before the flight to Tokyo so that shouldn't be a problem. Dylan has already selected his movies for the trip and I'm armed with plenty of touristy reading.
All forecasts for cherry blossoms blooming in time for our arrival are in our favour! Yay!
First stop Tokyo!
