Little Wet

Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia
Day 148 Today we woke up to a wet day. Actually it was wet and rainy almost all day long with a few dry patches. After breakfast in the park (dry patch one) we took a short drive through Noosaville to Noosa Heads. The second dry patch we had with no rain was spent window shopping along Hastings St. There were a lot of pricey boutiques with a couple of affordable ones thrown in there. From there we walked about 20 minutes to Noosa Junction getting caught in the rain on the way. We also saw a guy take a pretty decent spill on a Vespa as he lost control on the wet road. Luckily he was ok and after picking up his surfboard and back pack was back on the scooter. We did some more window shopping and found the movie theater. We made back up plans to go see a movie if it stayed wet. It did, so we did. After a good meal at the local Irish pub we went to see Snow White And The Huntsman. Even on the other side of the world Tuesday turned out to be discount night. We were surprised to find the cinema in this much bigger location was as small as the theater in Chinchilla, 100 seats big! The stage they had in front of the screen was almost bigger than the screen itself. After the movie we went over to the local Surfs Club and had a pretty cold shower. On the way, we passed a parking lot with Spaceship, Jucy, Hippis and Apollo rental camper vans all parked for the night. We were going to return after the showers and join them but instead elected to stay beside the ocean so we can listen to the waves. What a great idea.
