Lahaina - If you like Action and Excitement, This is the Place

The island of Maui has about 2 million visitors per year. The number one destination for most visitors is the town of Lahaina and the surrounding area located in West Maui.

It is described as being hip, high-energy, romantic and non-stop fun.

The town is known for top-draw stage shows, fine restaurants and late-night dancing which makes it Maui's party town.

It is also renowned for its luxury resorts like famous Kaanapali and Kapalua, just north of town. Time share is available here in overabundance along with beautiful golf courses and spectacular beaches.

We greatly enjoyed our day trips from Honokowai, near Lahaina, to various parts of the island. However, in the evening it was great to return to Lahaina for the before and after supper "paseo" along its interesting and crowded main street.
