Kauai Coffee Company - Yes, Hawaiian Coffee is Good

Considering how much we enjoyed every cup of coffee on the Hawaiian Islands as something special, it was not unusual that we jumped at the chance to tour a coffee plantation.

For coffee lovers who would like to learn more about coffee in general, I have included the story of coffee as presented at the Kauai Coffee Visitor Center and Plantation as depicted in the photos.

The Kauai Coffee Company presents itself as the home of the finest coffee in the world. It is also the largest plantation in the U.S. at 3,100 acres and it produces 60% of Hawaii's annual coffee crop. The coffee plantation got its start as a sugar plantation and with the decline of sugar it was replaced by coffee.

So as I say, if coffee is your thing, there is plenty of information in the photos. My only wish is should you decide to take your time and read the information, please do it with a "nice cup of coffee"!!!
