Sitting by the finish line which I wasnt able to during the IAAF games you could see more organizational activity. First they would lay out the starting blocks and collect the athletes garments in baskets. As soon as the firing pistols fired the volunteers would rush back onto the field to clear all the equipment.
Also I was able to see the camera crews this time with Sarbi interviewing athletes after the races.
The last two track events were the hurdles and 100m. I also had a clear view of the hurdles and 100m races by the finish line.
First was the womens hurdles followed by the mens hurdles

Finally was the mens 4x400 relay. Australia looked like they were in the lead but Japan made a sudden surge in the final turn leading to victory.
For a brief evening it was an exciting opportunity to experience another live sporting event. Daegu will again host an athletics championship later this year in October
