This morning I slept in till 9 and went for the breakfast buffet which ended at 10. I tried one of their chicken dishes which was really fiery. The hotel said they had an airport shuttle for 200,000IDR ($20) but that it takes 2 hours by car so for my 8am flight we would have to leave 4am to get there for a 6am check in.

I asked for directions to the local musuem and tried walking. I took a wrong turn and went thru the cemetery which was next to the museum. It was divided in half between Christians and Muslims.

When I got to the museum it was 750Rp (.07 cents) admission but she ended up charging me 1000Rp (.10 cents) as they didnt carry money that small.

The museum was very impressive and had many sections over its two floors. Some were carvings of giants carrying small people. They also had accordian style folding ancestral books.

Later they also had Quranic Arabic works, ceramics, traditional clothing, musical instruments, and craft items.
