Singapore, Singapore
When I last came to Singapore in Sept 2008 I didnt know it was during the Grand Prix Motor Racing. Not only could I not find a decent hotel room under $100 but lots of the downtown roads were closed off with giant concrete barriers for the racing cars to pass thru.

I didnt get to see a lot of the downtown colonial district or the waterfront. Today I was fortunate to be able to make it there and see the new triple tower skyscraper with a surfboard like structure floating on top which houses a rooftop infinity swimming pool.

I asked a group of French tourists in french 'esque vouz prenez un photo s.v.p.' to try to keep current on my French but its getting so hard to recall words when I've been studying Korean and keep bringing up Korean vocabulary.

The waterfront was a new area I hadnt seen in 2008. That day it was baking heat. Fortunately today started with light drizzle, then overcast so more bearable but still a big muggy.
