Residence of Princess Ljubica

Belgrade, Serbia

Now that my camera was starting to behave again I decided to take a chance and visit Princess Ljubica's house. I'm not sure who she was and I kept calling it Princess Leia's house as it was easier to remember.

Entrance was only 80D ($.95 cents) and was great value. The home has two floors. The ground floor follows a Turkish style with low floor seating and hanging lanterns. The upper floor is more European with armchair seating.

It reminded me a lot of Svorzo's house in Sarajevo who was a Turkish Governor. The ground floor even had its own Turkish bath

The upper floor had more portraits and glass cabinets with glassware and ceramics. Luckily my camera was behaving so it must have been a passing glitch

There is another Royal Palace only open by arranged tours on weekends but I cant go there as I wont be here for the weekend

For lunch I found a homemade pizza place for only 120D ($1.50). Veggie pizza comes with strange toppings such as carrots and lettuce, so veggie in a true sense.
