Metro to Airport and return home in Snowstorm

Toronto, Ontario, Canada
My five day trip to Mexico was over and I was heading home today. I had lots of time before my 2pm flight and the first time I could sleep in with no day trips.
I checked out by 930am and went to a Subway sandwich I had found to have half a sub for breakfast and save the rest for the flight since Air Canada charges for meals.
Rather than taking the metro back from Zocala the way I arrived which had three lines and two transfer stations I decided to take another route back from the north.
I headed up past Plaze de Santo Domingo to another station. This would have been too confusing to arrive from but was a lot simpler to go back on.
This route was quicker and much less crowded then if I had come via downtown with only one transfer. When leaving I took the wrong exit and came out the wrong side of the highway as there were not signs in the metro how to get to the terminal.
The terminal was very long and confusing trying to find where the check in counter was to get my boarding card. Today was a big snowstorm in Toronto so I was expecting delays but fortunately the flight took off on time at 8am from Toronto to pick us up for the return back.
We were only delayed 30 mins on take off.

Passing over the US I always see these carved lines. These are not railway lines or roads and are similar to ley lines or Nazca lines. I have not been able to find any information online but they are clearly visible even on google maps.
We arrived in Toronto as the storm from this morning was tapering off and the flight had been very turbulent.
