This morning I would be leaving London and starting my overland leg across the UK. First I had to get to Marylebone to get my train to Oxford. I would be crossing Central London in morning rush hour.
I decided to take the Elizabeth Line from Forest Gate rather than the Central Line from Stratford. The Elizabeth Line is newer with wider trains for my bags and runs express skipping stations.
Passing thru Stratford the train made its way to Tottenham Court Road in Central London via Liverpool St Station. Here I had to change to the Central Line to get to Oxford Circus. This was faster than taking the slower Central Line from Stratford and easier on a wider train with my bags.
From Tottenham Court Road I went one station to Oxford Circus then had to change again to the Bakerloo Line. This time the train was much more crowded.
It was only a couple of stops to Marylebone. I had made it across Central London with bags in morning rush hour.
