Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada
This afternoon I had a half day trip to Peggy's Cove the famous and most photographed lighthouse in Canada. For the tour I had the same driver and guide as yesterday telling the same stories and jokes.
The tour started at 1pm and we were due back in the city by 430pm
We were warned about high tides and not going too near the edge as people have been swept over in stormier weather.
The site is quite large and it was interesting seeing all the people like tiny ants crawling all over the rocks. The rocks are hard to climb and walk on in some places so be careful.
There was also alone bagpipe player that was playing and his music spread across the open landscape.
Aside from the lighthouse is the small fishing village beside. They offer puffin tours and the lake made beautiful reflections of the homes and boats.
I also had some Nova Scotia berry ice cream and there was a lobster vendor beside.
