Yaroslavl Mosque

Before leaving Yaroslavl we made a quick stop at the Mosque. This was the sixth Mosque we were to visit and the last before our return to Moscow.

The six Mosque towns had been in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Ivanova, Kostroma, and finally Yaroslavl. It was surprising that we had continued to find so many Mosques in the north of the country.

Yaroslavl Mosque

Unusually the Mosque had a restaurant inside the grounds. As it was still early the were starting to prepare the kebab skewers in the back for the later lunch crowd.
