After my 9 days in Russia I was leaving via Turkish Airlines to Oslo with a connection in Istanbul. My flight was supposed to be 2am but Turkish moved it up to 8pm shortening my final day in Moscow as well creating a 9 hour layover in Istanbul. Turkish also moved my flight when I was coming back from Azerbaijan earlier this year.
Strangely in Moscow Vnokovo Airport they has Japanese style sleeping capsules in the middle of the terminal. It should be located somewhere more quieter for people that want to rest.
The evening flight to Istanbul was uneventful except for a food reaction. I made my way to the lounge for the 9 hour layover (see prior entry)
Continuing to Olso the next morning my flight was 7.15am. Lucky I was refreshed and showered from the lounge.
We had clear skies for our flight but the new airport is not near the city so we didnt see any of Istanbul. I had the back row to myself which often happens and why I like sitting at the back.
On descent at Oslo it was overcast and raining. I took the airport train in to the city.
