Return Home : Oslo (OSL) > Istanbul (IST)

For my return home to Toronto at the end of my Norway/Russia trip I had another long flight on Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. As this is Star Alliance I could earn lots of Air Miles.

This was my third trip to Norway but I will probably come again as there is plenty more to see across the country. I was supposed to goto Alesund in the north but deferred that to another trip.

Strangely Oslo Airport does not allow you to goto the gate so I had to sit in a shop until they allowed us in. As the airport is outside the city it is just countryside on take off.

For the flight I was watching more episodes of my favourite Turkish drama about the intrigue of the Royal court around the time of one the last Pashas.

On arrival I had a 13 hour layover. I headed to the lounge again. They charge 59 Euros for six hours but they dont check how long you stay.

Next morning for the next leg to Toronto I had my seats at the back again. I choose the row where three become two seats for extra storage space in the sides.
