IFS Cloud Cable Car

IFS Cloud Royal Docks, England, United Kingdom
As part of my East London biking day I had planned to take the new cable car in East London to cross the River Thames back to get from Greenwich to Woolwich. Unfortunately bikes are not allowed on the carriages as they may not fit and restrict passenger seating.
We had to leave the bikes on the north side of the Thames before crossing in the Greenwich Foot tunnel [see previous entry]. Now having walked to the O2 Arena we were going to take the cable car back across the Thames and get our bikes again at a rental station on the other side.
When I looked online pricing was 5 pounds. However with everything on this trip when we went to pay it had increased to 6 pounds. This used to be called the Emirates Flyer but has been renamed the IFS Cloud Cable car due to sponsorship changes.
I'm normally nervous on these crossings especially when it crosses the support posts as there are noises and wobbles. However the ride was very smooth and not noticeable.
It may be more challenging on a windy day with rocking and breezes thru the door openings.
We didnt have the best views as the Isle of Dogs [Canary Wharf] blocks the City of London so you do not really see the Central London skyline or landmarks.
It was however a fun mini trip to do if you live or are visiting locally
