Heathrow Terminal 5, England, United KingdomMy two week trip in London was at an end and I was returning to Canada. The new Elizabeth Line runs direct trains to Heathrow. There are two branches in East London, one South East to the Docklands, one North East to Stratford.
Coming from Stratford this line was due to start running direct to Heathrow from May 2023. At this time I could only take a train as far as Paddington and would have change at one of the stations

At Heathrow first I needed to print my boarding card but the machines were down. At the counter a lady in a hijab started asking me about Toronto, and that her son was going there to start university and was it safe for Muslims. I told her not to worry.
I wasn't sure if this was a British Airways flight or Air India. The plane was full of people from India, many who were farting without a care in the world.
On descent into Toronto there was nothing to see and it was completely overcast.

They packed us into the Arrivals hall for an hour. I asked where are the Fire Escapes if there is a stampede? They told me to write in and complain. I guess they are not concerned if they are trapped in a stampede either.
