I have picked up PA002 on the journey toward Asia and the B747 has a mechnical problem. the PA staff are great but repairs must come from NYC and that will take 24 hours. We are stranded for the night and I did not have any cholera or yellow fever shots. I decided to stick to bottled water only and skip all food. This place is extremely hot and very poor. Crippled beggars are all over the streets. The local are not allowed into restaurants as they will eat the food people are throwing away. The hotel would be a 1 star, the bed sheets have not been changed and I sleep on top of the covers. We leave Karachi with only 1/2 the load as people have been re-booked out on other flights.
