We continued our drive and passed Salt Lake City and timed it to miss their rush hour. Lunch was at the Orem UT - Goodwood BBQ and it was very good. Onward south at breakneck speeds that approached 80 MPH to fuel in Beaver UT then east over the UT20 and a southward leg to Kanab. Took a break here and enjoyed the scenery. Our last portion for the day took us into AZ but not before passing the Pink Coral State Park, Incredible. We crossed the dam at Lake Powell, stooped for pictures and booked into the Super 8. It was pretty basic as was our dinner at Denny's.
