It has been 3 years since Kelly, Hailey and Meganh started cruising with our first port being Cozumel, here we have returned to the same place. Our ship used the commercial dock located closer to the centre of San Miguel. As we get off the ship, we can see the NCL Pearl parking on the opposite edge of our dock making what they called a cruise ship sandwich. There are a two more RCCL ships including the Allure of the Seas – the largest in the world plus the Carnival Magic which we sailed on in Feb. The NCL Dawn looks small next to these giants.  

We are off to explore Cozumel and this morning is a swim with the Stingrays. Our ride takes us to their beach facility with pens for feeding, petting and snorkeling. Unfortunately when we arrive the water is every rough and we are in the middle of a hard rain. Hailey and I brave the waves and fortunately Kelly gets to join in new the end of the program. These are amazing creatures and seem to enjoy the encounter with humans. A little more swimming and out to the ocean trampoline, then pictures with parrots and iguanas.   Unfortunately the photos of the stingray encounter were $60. We had lunch again at Tiki Tok – it has become a tradition with the 3 visits there for some excellent Mexican food.
