Interesting self guided adventure in Dubai. We were
here on Apr 30, 2013 with friends Karen, Albert, Lorna and Matti and met Bruce
W . who finished off our 1/2 day tour. The cruise terminal was replaced
with another 4X the size. Land reclamations and new high rises are going ahead
at great speed. Here is some of what we saw.

Dubai 068 - A piece of the Skyline.

Dubai 083 - Ice caps and apple fritters at Tim Horton's -
Dubai Mall

Dubai 098 - Burj Khalifa - Tallest in the world. The
elevator takes 1 min to go 124 floors.

Dubai 126 - Bridge over downtown man made lake

Dubai 161 - Souk at Dubai Mall - the skating ice was out
for a concert

Dubai 215 - Burj Al Arab at sunset
