We made a surprise trip to the East Coast - and did not tell the family where we were going. They wanted to know what to pack and we told them there was a beach. We did go swimming at Cavendish Beach, saw Anne of Green Gables House and had a lobster dinner at North Rustico. This is an amazing place with all kinds of charm and good people.
